Does Quick Focus sell QuickBooks Desktop?
QuickBooks Desktop comes in regional editions, and they have different futures. QuickBooks Desktop UK — the edition historically sold in Mauritius — has been discontinued by Intuit. Intuit released no UK 2022 edition and ended all support for UK Desktop on 30 June 2023. Your UK Desktop software still opens and works, but it no longer receives updates, security patches, bank feeds or Intuit support. Quick Focus no longer sells new QuickBooks Desktop UK licences. QuickBooks Desktop US continues. Intuit stopped selling new Pro Plus, Premier Plus and Mac Plus subscriptions to new customers in the United States after 30 September 2024; existing subscribers can keep renewing, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is still sold, and the 2024 release has no announced sunset date. Quick Focus can supply the US edition on request, subject to Intuit availability — but demand in Mauritius is now very low, and for almost every business we recommend QuickBooks Online instead. Is training refundable through HRDC?
Yes. Our QuickBooks Online and Desktop Masterclasses are MQA-approved; employers recover 75% through the HRDC grant, so a Rs 12,000 course nets Rs 3,000.
How do I switch my existing QuickBooks subscription to Quick Focus?
Send us your QuickBooks Online company ID on WhatsApp. We transfer billing to Quick Focus in MUR without any data change or downtime.
