QuickBooks has a 3-year life cycle policy on all QuickBooks Desktop versions.
Access to QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, Desktop Payments (Not applicable to Mauritius), technical support, and other services through QuickBooks Desktop software will be discontinued after May 31, 2024, as stated in the QuickBooks Notification. This means you won't receive any updates for your software after that date. QuickBooks wants users to move to QuickBooks Online.
After the discontinuation of the QuickBooks Desktop version, you can still use it, but you won't be able to connect to the internet or update your QuickBooks Desktop.
As a result, features that require internet access, such as payroll and updates, will no longer be available.
However, you will be able to continue using QBDT as long as it is activated.
